The Inn at Turkey Hill

My wife and I plus our 2 cats often make a drive from NYC to Cleveland to visit family in one, very grueling drive. Coming back to NYC, we decided to split the trip over two days and thankfully booked the "Pet friendly Courtyard King" at The Inn at Turkey Hill for 1 night. It is easily the best accommodation on I-80 whether or not you're looking for a pet friendly hotel. Absolutely perfect experience and we'd easily come back for a longer stay not simply as a pitstop in our travels, but as a destination for a vacation! Despite being off the exit, it's designed to really feel like a sanctuary. The pros in no order: -Easy online booking, smooth check in, and a great, late check out (12PM!) -Reasonably priced -Very hospitable and helpful staff reachable by text message, room phone, and in-person -Conveniently located right off the I-80 exit and a gas station -Quiet, relaxing, and safe environment -Clean, well maintained facilities and quaint decor all around the campus and in our room. Everything is walkable. -Pet friendly for both dogs and cats - our cats loved the room and the king sized bed. -Excellent food with several options for fine dining or casual. We didn't have time to try the more casual brewery, but did order room service from their more upscale restaurant, The Farmhouse. We particularly loved the beet salad, butternut bourbon bisque, seafood linguini, and the rosemary chicken. Portions were very large! Would have loved to eat in the restaurant, but we checked in pretty late/close to last call and didn't want to leave our cats alone in a room they'd never been in. -The complimentary breakfast at The Farmhouse was exceptional and super pleasant. They had prepared foods, baked goods, beverages, and the kitchen even offers the option to cook you an a la carte entree from a menu of 4 different choices (Avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, etc). No cons! We're really looking forward to coming back soon, checking out the brewery and the town itself.

Our room was incredible and so comfy. Breakfast was top notch in the adorable little greenhouse. We even went to the brewery Thursday night for some drinks and the bartender was amazing, and great at recommending us drinks. Can't remember her name but remembered she was a local teacher and orginally from Taos, NM. Top notch service from her, and she mentioned it was a wonderful place to work which made us feel ever better about our choice to stay there.

The Inn at Turkey Hill is the perfect couples weekend getaway. My boyfriend and I booked a 3-day trip for Valentine's Day weekend. There was holiday availability and the price was fair. It even included made-to-order breakfast! The staff was very kind and accommodating. Shoutout to Deb, Denise, Liz, and Sydney! We stayed in Room 17, which is one of the two rooms upstairs in the inn (not the stable or courtyard areas). The room was clean, plently large enough, and included a jacuzzi tub. Although it was nice to have no neighbors next to us, we could hear a lot of the downstairs happenings including the dinner and breakfast-time piano music. It didn't bother us, but if you're a light sleeper, it might. The inn abuts the expressway and there are noises from that as well. We are not from PA, so we were a bit unfamiliar with the area when booking. We could not find much to do nearby and wound up traveling 2+ hours to shop. The local town serves Bloomsburg University and so there are fraternity houses along the main street in the village. If you're just looking to relax and are not too interested in exploring, I think the location is fine. We had dinner twice at the brewery and once at the inn and all three times the food was amazing! Highly recommend the bourbon-honey pork chop!

What a lovely inn. Only stayed overnight while in the area for a work event. Enjoyed the beautiful and rustic decor, the luxuriously comfortable bed, fireplace and rejuvenating whirlpool. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Our stay at the Inn at Turkey Hill was absolutely wonderful! The breakfast was incredible - fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to our day. The room completely exceeded our expectations, it was massive, beautifully maintained, and came with thoughtful touches like a whirlpool tub and spacious shower. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a true gem in Bloomsburg, and we’ll definitely be back!

My review is for the restaurant only. This place is incredible. My husband and I love having a fancy date night here. The food is so good and the drinks are wonderful as well. The service is unmatched, and every time we leave- we talk about how we can’t wait to come back. Their seasonal menus are fabulous. I have never had a bad meal here.

Our dinner was delicious from start to finish. Our server, Giles, and his assistants were attentive but not bothersome. It was my husband's birthday. We had a lovely table in the greenhouse. I had the rosemary chicken, and he had the honey-bourbon pork chop. Both were tender and juicy. We were very pleased and will be back.

After coming straight from a family Christmas gathering at an Airbnb that was, unfortunately, a complete disaster, arriving at Inn at Turkey Hill felt like an instant exhale.The Airbnb we stayed in looked gorgeous from the outside, but the reality inside was very different…..poorly maintained, uncomfortable, and with beds so hard that no one in our group was able to sleep. It made us realize how much true hospitality and care really matter. That experience made our stay at the Inn at Turkey Hill even more special this time. The staff is consistently courteous and welcoming, and the rooms are charmingly retro, always spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. There's a warmth here that you can feel immediately. This is a beautiful inn that feels lovingly preserved, not outdated. You can tell the owners take genuine pride in keeping it lovingly stuck in time in the best possible way—clean, cozy, and full of character. Every stay reminds us why we keep coming back. We stay here every time we’re home. The food from their two restaurants is consistently delicious, the beds are notably comfortable (sheets are super soft), we just love everything about it. If you're looking for comfort, charm, and a place that truly feels cared for, this inn delivers every time.
